An anonymous email is an email with an empty sender address. Anonymous email may contain undesired information, such as violence or pornography.

Upon detecting an email encapsulated in SMTP, the FW performs anonymous mail check in the sending direction. The send-mail anonymity action command enables anonymous mail check in the sending direction and configures the action for the detected anonymous emails.

By default, the anonymous mail check function is disabled. After you create a mail filtering view, anonymous mail check in the sending direction is automatically enabled, and the default action is allow.

Example

# Enable the FW to block anonymous emails.

<sysname> system-view
[sysname] profile type mail-filter name abc
[sysname-profile-mail-filter-abc] send-mail anonymity action block
