Function

The send-mail attachment max-size enable command enables mail filtering by attachment size in the sending direction.

The undo send-mail attachment max-size enable command disables mail filtering by attachment size in the sending direction.

Usage Guidelines

Upon detecting an email encapsulated in SMTP, the FW performs filtering on the email by size and number of attachments in the sending direction.

Mail attachment control controls the size and number of attachments to prevent information leaks. The send-mail attachment max-size enable command enables mail filtering by attachment size in the sending direction.

By default, mail filtering by attachment size in the sending direction is disabled. After you create a mail filtering view, mail filtering by attachment size in the sending direction is automatically enabled.
