The undo snmp-agent command disables SNMP Agent.
By default, the SNMP Agent is disabled.
Usage Scenario
The SNMP Agent is an agent process on a device on the network. The SNMP Agent maintains managed network devices by responding to the NMS request and reporting management data to the NMS. To configure SNMP on a device, the SNMP Agent must be enabled. The snmp-agent command enables the SNMP Agent.
Configuration Impact
After SNMP Agent is enabled using the snmp-agent command, the listening ports for IPv4 and IPv6 services are both enabled.
After SNMP Agent is disabled using the undo snmp-agent command, the listening ports for IPv4 and IPv6 services are both disabled.
