Usage Scenario
By default, a source IPv6 address is randomly selected for receiving and responding to NM station requests, which is inconvenient for unified data management. To resolve this problem, run the snmp-agent protocol ipv6 source-ip command to configure a source IPv6 address for receiving and responding to NM station requests.
Precautions
If a source IPv6 address is specified for receiving and responding to NM station requests, the NM station must be able to communicate with the specified source IPv6 address at Layer 3 to ensure that authorized NM station can log in to the device.
