snmp-agent trap enable

Function

The snmp-agent trap enable command enables the device to send trap packets and set the related trap parameters.

The undo snmp-agent trap enable command cancels the current setting.

Format

snmp-agent trap enable [ feature-name feature-name [ trap-name trap-name ] ]

undo snmp-agent trap enable [ feature-name feature-name [ trap-name trap-name ] ]

feature-name Specifies a feature that generates traps. -
trap-name Specifies a trap for the specified feature. -

Usage Guidelines

The default trap states of different features are different. You can view the default trap state of a feature by using the display snmp-agent trap all command.

This command can't be backed up to the standby device.
