snmp-agent session-rate trap threshold

Function

The snmp-agent session-rate trap threshold command configures the alarm threshold of new IPv4 sessions per second.

The undo snmp-agent session-rate trap threshold command restores the alarm threshold of new IPv4 sessions per second to the default value, namely, 80%.

undo snmp-agent session-rate trap threshold

Parameters

Parameter Description Value
threshold-value

Specifies the alarm threshold of new IPv4 sessions per second of a CPU.

The trap threshold here is a ratio. For example, if it is set to 85, a trap is generated once the rate of new sessions of a CPU exceeds 85% of the specification.

The value is an integer ranging from 1 to 100. The default value is 80.

Usage Guidelines

If the new IPv4 sessions per second of a CPU reaches the alarm threshold, alarm FWD_1.3.6.1.4.1.2011.6.122.15.3.2.3 hwSecStatSessRateOverThreshold is sent.

If the new IPv4 sessions per second of a CPU falls below the alarm threshold, alarm FWD_1.3.6.1.4.1.2011.6.122.15.3.2.4 hwSecStatSessRateBelowThreshold is sent.
