dn-name

Function

The dn-name command configures a host name for an asset.

The undo dn-name command deletes the configured asset host name.

Parameter	Description	Value
dn-name	Specifies the host name of an asset.	The value is a string of 1 to 63 case-sensitive characters. Special characters commas (,), double quotation marks ("") or question marks (?) are not supported.

By configuring the host name of an asset, you can quickly determine the asset information and better distinguish each asset.

# Set the host name of asset abc to desktop-1234.
