Function

The group command creates an asset group and accesses its view.

The undo group command deletes an asset group.

Format

group name group-name

undo group { all | name group-name }

Parameters

Parameter	Description	Value
name group-name	Specifies the name of the asset group.	The value is a string of 1 to 31 case-sensitive characters that do not contain spaces, hyphens (-), asterisks (*), commas (,), double quotation marks ("") or question marks (?).
all	Deletes all asset groups.	-

Usage Guidelines

When multiple assets belong to the same department, create an asset group for this department and bind all assets to it for easy management. You can use the asset group name as a query condition to find out which assets belong to the specific department.
