Function

The ip command configures the IP address of an asset.

ip ip-address

Parameter	Description	Value
ip-address	Specifies the IP address of the asset.	The value is in dotted decimal notation.

Asset view

2: Configuration level

Among many asset attributes, such as the asset name, asset type, and location, only the IP address can uniquely identify the asset.

You must configure the IP address prior to other asset information; otherwise, the configuration will fail.

# Configure the IP address of asset J0001 as 10.1.1.1.
