Usage Guidelines

The configuration file must take .cfg as its extension name, and the system configuration file must be saved under the root directory of the storage device. The storage device is cfcard.

The configuration file whose name contains % cannot be configured as the configuration file for the next startup. You can run the rename command to rename the configuration file and set it to a configuration file that does not contain %. Then, you can run the startup saved-configuration command to reference the renamed configuration file.

After running this command, you cannot run the save command without parameters in the user view. If you run the save command, the system uses the saved configuration file instead of the current startup configuration file as the startup configuration file.

Example

# Configure the configuration file used in the next startup.

<sysname> startup saved-configuration vrpcfg.cfg
