switch vsys

Function

The switch vsys command switches the current view from the public system view to the virtual system user view.

Format

switch vsys vsys-name

Parameters

vsys-name	Specifies the name of a virtual system.	It must be the name of an existing virtual system.

Usage Guidelines

Application Scenarios

When a root system administrator configures a virtual system using the CLI, the administrator must run the switch vsys command to access the configuration view of the virtual system first.

Prerequisites

Run the vsys name vsys-name command to create a virtual system first before running the switch vsys command to access the configuration view of the corresponding virtual system.

Follow-up Procedure

In the user view of the virtual system, run the quit command to return from the user view of the virtual system to the system view of the root system.

In all views of the virtual system, run the return command to return from the view of the virtual system to the user view of the root system.
