The target-ip command sets an IP network segment in which assets are scanned.
The undo target-ip command deletes the IP network segment in which assets are scanned.
target-ip id ipv4-address mask mask-length
target-ip id range start-ipv4-address end-ipv4-address
undo target-ip {id | all }
| Parameter | Description | Value |
|---|---|---|
id |
Specifies the ID of a target IP network segment. Up to 24 IP network segments can be set. |
The value is an integer ranging from 1 to 24. |
ipv4-address |
Specify an IP network segment address. |
The value is in dotted decimal notation. |
mask mask-length |
Specifies the subnet mask length. |
The value is an integer ranging from 0 to 32. |
range id start-ipv4-address end-ipv4-address |
Specifies the range of IP network segment addresses. |
The value is in dotted decimal notation. The most significant 24 bits of the start IP address must be the same as those of the end IP address. For example, if the start IP address is 10.10.1.1, the end IP address must be 10.10.1.*. |
all |
Specify all IP network segment address. |
The value is in dotted decimal notation. |
Before manually scanning assets or configuring scheduled asset scanning, you need to configure the target IP network segment for asset scanning. After asset scanning is started, the FW sends detection packets to the target network segment to proactively obtain asset information.
Set this parameter based on the IP address segment where the assets are located. Otherwise, the processing performance of the device may be affected.
Modifying canning parameter settings during asset scanning is not allowed.
