update device-category tsm-server template

Function

The update device-category tsm-server template command imports devices from the Agile Controller server and updates the types of predefined device groups.

Format

update device-category tsm-server template template-name [ import-overwrite ]

Parameters

Parameter	Description	Value
template-name	Specifies the name of a Agile Controller server template.	The value must be the name of an existing Agile Controller server template.
import-overwrite	Indicates that predefined device groups will be overwritten. The predefined device group configuration is synchronized from the Agile Controller server during the import of the device configuration. The devices are added to corresponding device groups. If this parameter is not set, new devices do not belong to any device group.	-

Usage Guidelines

By default, the FW has no devices. Therefore, you need to use the update device-category tsm-server template command to import devices from the Agile Controller server. If import-overwrite is configured, the FW will automatically assign them to specific predefined device groups.

This function requires the use of the Agile Controller SSO function. The FW controls the permission of Agile Controller SSO users based on their device types.
