After an online user is locked out, this user loses access to network resources, cannot deregister itself, and cannot initiate an authentication request. After the lockout duration has expired or an administrator unlocks the online user, and the timeout period has not expired, this online user restores access to network resources. If the timeout period has expired, this online user must be authenticated again before regaining access to network resources.
