Usage Guidelines

The default MAC entry aging time is 1 minute.

When you use The FW participates in user-defined portal authentication combined with MAC address-prioritized portal authentication, the FW generates the MAC entry of the authenticated user and sends a MAC authentication request to the Agile Controller.

If the Agile Controller does not respond within a certain period of time or MAC authentication fails, the FW redirects the user to the portal authentication page.
  • If a user continuously fails the portal authentication, the FW will delete the user's MAC entry after the aging time configured with this command is due.
  • If a user passes portal authentication, the FW directly deletes the user's MAC entry after that.

If a user passes MAC authentication, the FW also deletes the user's MAC entry after that.

Example

# Set the MAC entry aging time to 10 minutes.
