user-self password

Function

The user-self password command changes the password of an Internet access user.

Format

user-self user user-name password user-new-password

Parameters

Parameter Description Value
user user-name Specifies the Internet access user name. The value is a string of 1 to 63 characters.
password user-new-password Specifies the new user password. The value is a string that contains 8 to 16 characters and is saved in 32-character cipher text. To enhance security, a password must meet the minimum strength requirements, that is, the password needs to contain at least three types of the following characters: uppercase letters (A to Z), lowercase letters (a to z), digits (0 to 9), and special characters, such as exclamation points (!), at signs (@), number signs (#), dollar signs ($), and percent (%). Please keep the character string you entered safe for your next login.

Usage Guidelines

When you run the command, you must enter the entire command, such as user-self user abc password Admin@123.

Example

# Set new password of the Internet access user Jack to be Hello@123.
