The user privilege command sets the CLI administrator interface level.
The undo user privilege command restores the default CLI administrator interface level.
| Parameter | Description | Value |
|---|---|---|
| level level | Specifies the CLI administrator interface level. | The value is an integer ranging from 0 to 15. |
By default, the console interface level is 15, and the level of other CLI interfaces is 0.
If an administrator logs in to a FW interface using the AAA authentication mode and the CLI interface level is set, the administrator account level takes precedence over the CLI interface level.
For example, an administrator with the account of 001 is assigned level 3, and the level of VTY0 is set to 2. After the administrator logs in to VTY0, the administrator can access commands lower than or equal to 3.
