v-gateway cur-max-user

Function

The v-gateway cur-max-user command sets the maximum number of users of different access types.

The undo v-gateway cur-max-user command restores the default setting.

Format

v-gateway v-gateway-name cur-max-user cur-max-user

Usage Guidelines

The maximum number of concurrent users supported by the FW is controlled by the license. The license also limits the total number of concurrent users on virtual gateways of the FW

The maximum number of concurrent users on a virtual gateway must be smaller than the maximum number of users on the virtual gateway.

By default, there is no license loaded, and a virtual gateway can have a maximum of 100 concurrent users. After a license is loaded, the maximum number of concurrent users on a new virtual gateway is in either of the following conditions:

If a concurrent user limit is set for virtual gateways, the maximum number of concurrent users on the new virtual gateway is the number of remaining concurrent users of the system license.
If no concurrent user limit is set for virtual gateways, the maximum number of concurrent users on the new virtual gateway is the number of concurrent users allowed by the system license.
