The video service enable command enables the video gateway mode.
The undo video service enable command disables the video gateway mode.
By default, the video gateway mode is disabled.
Usage Scenario
In the camera security management solution, the FW works with the video security management platform to implement centralized camera management and secure access control. In this case, the FW must work in video gateway mode.
Precautions
Generally, the command for enabling the video gateway mode does not need to be manually configured on the FW. When FW interconnection parameters are configured on the video security management platform, the platform delivers this command to the FW through the RESTCONF interface to enable the video gateway mode.
Configuration Impact
In the camera security management solution, service configuration is taken over by the video security management platform, and the platform delivers configurations to the FW through the RESTCONF interface. After the video gateway mode is enabled on the FW, the following changes may occur:
If the camera security management solution is not used, do not switch to the video gateway mode. If the switchover is performed by mistake, you can roll back the configuration file. The FW automatically saves the configuration file before_video_device_gw.cfg before the mode switchover to the root directory.
