Usage Guidelines

By default, the system checks TTLs in VRRP6 packets.

As defined, the system checks TTLs in received VRRP6 packets. If the TTL values are not 255, VRRP6 packets are discarded.

On the network where devices of different vendors are deployed, checking TTLs in VRRP6 packets may cause the system to incorrectly discard VRRP6 packets. To prevent this, you can disable the system from checking TTLs in VRRP6 packets.

Example

# Disable the system from checking TTLs in VRRP6 packets.
