Usage Guidelines

After the arp-suppress enable command is run, the ARP suppression function can be enabled only on the Eth-Trunk interface and VLANIF interface. If an interface has learnt the ARP entry of an IP address and the interface receives several ARP request packets from this IP address in one second, the interface only responds to the packets rather than update the ARP entry.

The undo arp-suppress command enables ARP suppression only on the VLANIF interface but disable ARP suppression on other interfaces.

Example

# Enable ARP suppression.
