checkzero (RIPng)

Function

The checkzero command checks the Must-Be-Zero (MBZ) fields in RIPng packets.

The undo checkzero command disables the MBZ field check.

By default, the MBZ field check is performed on RIPng packets.

Format

checkzero

undo checkzero

Parameters

None

Views

RIPng view

Default Level

2: Configuration level

Usage Guidelines

After being enabled with the MBZ field check, a FW does not process the RIPng packets whose MBZ fields are not zero. If all the packets are trustable, the MBZ field check is not required. CPU time is therefore saved.

Example

# Check the MBZ fields in RIPng packets.

<sysname> system-view
[sysname] ripng 1
[sysname-ripng-1] checkzero
