The display lacp brief command displays brief Link Aggregation Control Protocol (LACP) information, including LACP system priority and system ID.

Usage Scenario

LACP system priorities and system IDs are compared in LACP negotiation to determine the Actor.

By default, the LACP system priority is 32768, and the device with the smaller LACP system ID is elected as the Actor.
If LACP system priorities are modified using the lacp priority command, the device with the smaller LACP system priority is elected as the Actor.

The display eth-trunk command can be used to check LACP system priority and system ID only after an Eth-Trunk interface working in LACP mode is configured, which is unhelpful for network planning. To facilitate network planning, you can run the display lacp brief command to check LACP system priority and system ID when no Eth-Trunk interface working in LACP mode is configured.
