The display mac-address summary command displays statistics about all MAC address entries.

Usage Guidelines

If a device has a great number of MAC addresses of different types, the display mac-address summary command can be used to display statistics about the MAC address entries in the system.

If no static or blackhole MAC addresses are configured on the device, statistics about the two types of MAC address entries are 0.

Item	Description
Slot	Indicates the number of the slot where the interface board is installed.
Total	Indicates the number of the MAC address.
Blackhole	Indicates the number of blackhole MAC address entries.
Static	Indicates the number of static MAC address entries.
Dynamic	Indicates the number of dynamic MAC address entries.
