Function

The hello-option neighbor-tracking command enables the neighbor tracking function.

The undo hello-option neighbor-tracking command restores the default configuration.

2: Configuration level

By default, the neighbor tracking function is not enabled.

This command is only valid for PIM-SM.

After being enabled with the neighbor tracking function, the FW precisely tracks the membership on neighbors.

Precise tracking can be implemented only when this command is configured on all FWs at the shared network segment.
