igmp ssm-mapping enable

Function

The igmp ssm-mapping enable command enables Source-Specific Multicast (SSM) mapping.

The undo igmp ssm-mapping enable command restores the default configuration.

igmp ssm-mapping enable

undo igmp ssm-mapping enable

Usage Guidelines

By default, SSM mapping is disabled.

Usage Scenario

The configured SSM source/group address mapping entries take effect only after SSM mapping is enabled on interfaces.

Prerequisites

The multicast routing-enable command has been run in the public network instance view or the VPN instance view.

Precautions

SSM mapping enabled on an interface is irrelevant to the version number of IGMP.

Example

# Enable SSM mapping on GigabitEthernet 0/0/1.
<sysname> system-view
[sysname] multicast routing-enable
[sysname] interface GigabitEthernet 0/0/1
[sysname-GigabitEthernet0/0/1] igmp ssm-mapping enable
