ipv6 maximum load-balancing

Function

The ipv6 maximum load-balancing command sets the maximum number of IS-ISv6 equal-cost routes among which load balancing is performed according to the memory capacity.

The undo ipv6 maximum load-balancing command restores the default value of the maximum number of the equal-cost routes.

By default, IPv6 load balancing is supported.

Format

ipv6 maximum load-balancing number

undo ipv6 maximum load-balancing [ number ]

Parameters

Parameter Description Value
number Specifies the number of equal-costs among which load balancing is performed. The value ranges from 1 to 8.

Usage Guidelines

This command is valid only for an IPv6 base topology.

The ipv6 maximum load-balancing command can take effect only after IPv6 is enabled for the IS-IS process by the ipv6 enable command.

Example

# Set the maximum number of IS-ISv6 equal-cost routes among which load balancing is performed to 2.
