Usage Guidelines

After the certificate for the interface is configured, the interface replies the CPA message containing the certificate information to the CPS message sent by the host. After receiving the CPA message, the host authenticates the certificate. The host regards the router as the default one only when the certificate passes the authentication.

By default, the interface is not configured with a certificate.

Example

# Configure local certificate local.cer for GigabitEthernet 0/0/1.

<sysname> system-view
[sysname] interface gigaitethernet 1/0/1
[sysname-GigabitEthernet 0/0/1] ipv6 send local-certificate filename local.cer
