isis suppress-reachability

Function

The isis suppress-reachability command enables IS-IS to suppress of the advertisement of an interface's direct routes in a specified topology.

The undo isis suppress-reachability command disables IS-IS to suppress of the advertisement of an interface's direct routes in a specified topology.

By default, IS-IS does not suppress the advertisement of interface addresses.

Format

isis suppress-reachability [ level-1 | level-1-2 | level-2 ]

undo isis suppress-reachability

Parameters

Parameter Description Value
level-1 Indicates the suppression of the advertisement of Level-1 interface addresses only. -
level-1-2 Indicates the suppression of the advertisement of Level-1 interface addresses and Level-2 interface addresses. -
level-2 Indicates the suppression of the advertisement of Level-2 interface addresses only.
NOTE:

If no specified level exists, the default value is Level-1-2.

Usage Guidelines

If no topology instance name is specified, an IPv4 base topology is configured by default.

Example

# Suppress the IPv4 address of the GigabitEthernet0/0/0 to be advertised.

[sysname-GigabitEthernet0/0/0] isis suppress-reachability
