The maxage-lsa route-calculate-delay command configures a route calculation delay that is triggered when the device receives a MaxAge Router LSA.
The undo maxage-lsa route-calculate-delay command restores the default configuration.
By default, the delay is 20s.
| Parameter | Description | Value |
|---|---|---|
| delay-interval | Specifies a route calculation delay that is triggered when the device receives a MaxAge Router LSA. | The value is an integer ranging from 0 to 65535, in seconds. If the value is set to 0, route calculation is not delayed when the device receives a MaxAge Router LSA. |
Frequent OSPFv3 LSA flapping may lead to route flapping, adversely affecting services. To address this problem, run the maxage-lsa route-calculate-delay command to configure the device to delay route calculation when it receives a MaxAge Router LSA, which suppresses the frequent OSPFv3 LSA flapping that may occur.
To reset MaxAge Router LSA statistics, run the reset ospfv3 statistics maxage-lsa or undo ospfv3 process-id command.
