maxage-lsa route-calculate-delay (OSPFv3)

Function

The maxage-lsa route-calculate-delay command configures a route calculation delay that is triggered when the device receives a MaxAge Router LSA.

The undo maxage-lsa route-calculate-delay command restores the default configuration.

By default, the delay is 20s.

Format

Usage Guidelines

Frequent OSPFv3 LSA flapping may lead to route flapping, adversely affecting services. To address this problem, run the maxage-lsa route-calculate-delay command to configure the device to delay route calculation when it receives a MaxAge Router LSA, which suppresses the frequent OSPFv3 LSA flapping that may occur.

To reset MaxAge Router LSA statistics, run the reset ospfv3 statistics maxage-lsa or undo ospfv3 process-id command.

Example

# Configure the device to delay route calculation for 200s when the device receives a MaxAge Router LSA.
