ntp-service sync-interval

Function

The ntp-service sync-interval command configures the maximum time interval at which the client clock should be updated.

The undo ntp-service sync-interval command cancels the interval period.

By default, the maximum time interval at which the client clock should be updated is 600s.

Parameters

Parameter Description Value

interval

Specifies the time interval for updating the clock.

It is an integer and ranges from 180 to 600 seconds.

Usage Guidelines

The client clock should be updated when there is a change in the server clock. This command helps to reduce the time interval for updating the current client clock.

Example

# Configure resync interval of 180 seconds.

<sysname> system-view
[sysname] ntp-service sync-interval 180
