reset ntp-service statistics packet

Function

The reset ntp-service statistics packet command resets all the statistics about global IPv4 NTP packets.

Format

reset ntp-service statistics packet [ ipv6 | peer [ ip-address [ vpn-instance vpn-instance-name ] | ipv6 [ ipv6-address [ vpn-instance vpn-instance-name ] ] ] ]

Parameters

Parameter Description Value
ipv6 Resets the statistics about global IPv6 NTP packets. -
peer Resets the packet statistics on IPv4 peers. -
ip-address Resets the NTP packet statistics on the specified IPv4 peer. It is in dotted decimal notation.
vpn-instance vpn-instance-name Indicates the VPN instance associated with the NTP peer. -
ipv6 ipv6-address Resets the NTP packet statistics on the specified IPv6 peer. ipv6-address is a hexadecimal with every four digits separated by a colon (:). Four zeros can be expressed as "::".

Usage Guidelines

reset ntp-service statistics packet command helps you to clear all the packets statistics.

Once deleted, statistics cannot be restored. Therefore, use caution when deleting statistics.

Example

# Clear the statistics about global IPv4 NTP packets.

<sysname> reset ntp-service statistics packet

# Clear the packet statistics on the peer whose IPv6 address is 40::1.

<sysname> reset ntp-service statistics packet ipv6 40::1
