The rip poison-reverse command configures poison reverse for RIP Update packets.
The undo rip poison-reverse command cancels the configuration.
By default, poison reverse is disabled.

After poison reverse is configured and RIP learns a route from a specific interface, RIP sets the cost of the route to 16 (indicating unreachable) and then sends the route to the neighbor through the same interface.
When both split horizon and poison reverse are configured, only poison reverse takes effect.
