snmp-agent trap enable feature-name rip

Function

The snmp-agent trap enable feature-name rip command enables the trap function for the RIP module.

The undo snmp-agent trap enable feature-name rip command disables the trap function for the RIP module.

By default, rip trap functions are disabled.

Format

snmp-agent trap enable feature-name rip [ trap-name { hwrip2dboverflow | hwrip2dboverflowresume } ]

undo snmp-agent trap enable feature-name rip [ trap-name { hwrip2dboverflow | hwrip2dboverflowresume } ]

Parameters

Parameter Description Value
trap-name Enables the traps of RIP events of specified types. -
hwrip2dboverflow Enables the traps of RIP database overflow. By default, this trap is disabled.
hwrip2dboverflowresume Enables the traps of RIP database overflow resume. By default, this trap is disabled.

Usage Guidelines

The snmp-agent trap enable feature-name rip command enables the alarm function to monitor the tunnel group status. To enable the alarm function for one or more specific events on the RIP module, set trap-name in the command.

Follow-up Procedure

You can run the display snmp-agent trap feature-name rip all command to view the alarms related to the RIP module.
