Usage Guidelines

By default, the interval at which Join/Prune messages are sent to an upstream FW is 60 seconds.

The command is applicable to PIM-SM networks.

When a FW receives a Join/Prune message, the FW updates the downstream interface status to maintain the (S, G) or (*, G) entry.

Example

# Set the interval at which Join/Prune messages are sent to 80s.

<sysname> system-view
[sysname] multicast routing-enable
