The timer retry command configures the period to resend a connection request.
The undo timer retry command restores the default value.

By default, the period to resend a connection request is 30 seconds.
The TCP connection needs to be set up between MSDP peers. MSDP requires that the peer with the larger IP address listen at port 639, and the peer with the smaller IP address start a connection. If the connection fails, the peer restarts the connection a specified period.
