The timer wait-for-eor command sets the period during which a peer in a VPN-Target address family waits for the End-Of-RIB flag.
The undo timer wait-for-eor command restores the default value.
By default, the period during which a peer in a VPN-Target address family waits for the End-Of-RIB flag is 180s.
| Parameter | Description | Value |
|---|---|---|
| time | Specifies the period of waiting for the End-Of-RIB flag. |
The value is an integer ranging from 3 to 3000, in seconds. The default value is 180s. |
During the establishment or re-establishment of a BGP session, if a device in the VPN-Target address family received the End-of-RIB tag within the period set with this command, the corresponding neighbor in the VPNv4/VPNv6 address family view of the device is immediately triggered to send routes. This command ensures that routes of the VPN-Target address family are preferentially converged during GR.
