undo mac-address dynamic

Function

The undo mac-address dynamic command deletes the dynamic MAC entries.

Format

undo mac-address dynamic [ interface-type interface-number | vlan vlan-id ] ^*

Parameters

Parameter	Description	Value
interface-type interface-number	Specifies the type and number of the interface.	The interface can be a GE interface, or an Eth-Trunk interface.
vlan-id	Specifies the ID of a VLAN.	The value is an integer that ranges from 1 to 4094.

Usage Guidelines

To achieve accurate MAC address learning limit on the interface or the VLAN that has learnt MAC addresses, you can run the undo mac-address dynamic command to clear the learnt addresses.

Using the undo mac-address dynamic vlan command, you can delete the dynamic MAC entries generated in a VLAN.
Using the undo mac-address dynamic interface-type interface-number command, you can delete the dynamic MAC entries generated on an interface.
Using the undo mac-address dynamic interface-type interface-number vlan command, you can delete the dynamic MAC entries generated on an interface in a VLAN. The interface specified in the interface-type interface-number command must reside in the VLAN specified in vlan. To delete the MAC address entries successfully, you must create the VLAN first.
If no parameter is specified, all the dynamic MAC entries of the system are displayed.
