ad-server user-filter

Function

The ad-server user-filter command configures the user filtering field that functions as the user name for an AD server.

The undo ad-server user-filter command restores the default value of the user filtering field that functions as the user name for an AD server.

By default, the user attribute of an AD server is sAMAccountName.

Parameters

Parameter	Description	Value
field	Specifies the user filtering field.	The value is a string of 1 to 63 characters. It cannot contain spaces or the following symbols: \, /, < , >, ?, &, \|, ', and ". The user attribute must be the same as that specified on the AD server.

Usage Guidelines

The command configures the user filtering field that functions as the user name for an AD server. The value of the user filtering field can be considered as the user name.
