application-group name

Function

The application-group name command creates an application group and displays the application group view.

The undo application-group name deletes an application group.

Format

application-group name name

undo application-group name name

Parameters

Parameter Description Value
name Specifies the name of an application group. The value is a case-sensitive character string. The length of a name without spaces ranges from 1 to 32 characters. The length of a name with spaces ranges from 3 to 34 characters. If a name contains spaces, the name must be enclosed with quotation marks (for example, "user for test").

The name cannot contain question marks (?) or commas (,). If the name does not contain any space, it also cannot have any double quotation marks ("). In addition, the name cannot be any or all.

Usage Guidelines

If the name you specify does not exist, the application-group name command creates an application group and displays the application group view. If the specified name exists, this command displays the application group view.

# Create application group test.

<sysname> system-view
[sysname] application-group name test
[sysname-application-group-test]
