dhcp-server-ip

Function

The dhcp-server-ip command specifies a DHCP server IP address in an IPSec policy.

The undo dhcp-server-ip command deletes the DHCP server IP address in an IPSec policy.

By default, no DHCP server IP address is configured in an IPSec policy.

Format

dhcp-server-ip ipv4-address

undo dhcp-server-ip

Parameters

Parameter Description Value
ipv4-address Specifies the IP address of a DHCPv4 server. The value is in dotted decimal notation.

Usage Guidelines

In a DHCP over IPSec scenario, the DHCP client initiates IPSec negotiation. In this situation, the enterprise gateway must have the DHCP server IP address configured so that DHCP broadcast packets can be transmitted over an IPSec tunnel..

# Specify DHCP server IP address 10.1.1.1 in the IPSec policy policy1.
