Function

The display protocol-identify command displays the result of application identification.

Format

display protocol-identify { service | all } [ slot slot-id cpu cpu-id ]

Parameters

Parameter Description Value

service

Displays the identification result of the specified application.

The value must be the name of an existing application.

all

Displays the identification results of all applications.

slot slot-id

Specifies the slot ID of the SPU. Only the USG6635E/6655E, USG6680E and USG6712E/6716E support this parameter.

cpu cpu-id

Specifies the CPU ID. Only the USG6635E/6655E, USG6680E and USG6712E/6716E support this parameter.

Usage Guidelines

The system generates an entry after identifying an application. Then the system can forward subsequent packets of the applications matching the entries according to corresponding policies, which improves the application identification efficiency.

Example
