dns server unnumbered

Function

The dns server unnumbered command configures to borrow the DNS server IP address obtained by the specific interface to be the DNS server IP address of the local device.

The undo dns server unnumbered command deletes the interface that is configured to obtain the IP address of the DNS Server.

Format

dns server unnumbered interface interface-type interface-number

undo dns server unnumbered interface interface-type interface-number

Usage Guidelines

Each interface can at most obtain IP addresses of two DNS servers.
