Function

The file-block false-extension action command configures the action for unmatched file name extensions.

The undo file-block false-extension action command restores the default action for unmatched file name extensions. The default action is allow.

Format

file-block false-extension action { alert | allow | block }

Usage Guidelines

The default action for unmatched file name extensions is allow.

If the action for unmatched file name extensions is allow or alert, the device implements data filtering on the files whose name extensions do not match their actual types.
