file-block unknown-type action

Function

The file-block unknown-type action command configures the action for unknown files.

The undo file-block unknown-type action command restores the default action for unknown files. The default action is allow.

Format

file-block unknown-type action { alert | allow | block }

Usage Guidelines

The default action for unknown files is allow.

Unknown files are files that cannot be identified or do not have any file name extensions. The device does not implement data filtering on unknown files.
