profile type app-control name

Function

The profile type app-control name command creates an application behavior control profile and displays the profile view.

The undo profile type app-control command deletes all or the specified application behavior control profiles.

Format

profile type app-control name name

undo profile type app-control { all | name name }

Parameters

Parameter	Description	Value
name name	Specifies the name of an application behavior control profile.	The value is a case-sensitive character string. The length of a name without spaces ranges from 1 to 32 characters. The length of a name with spaces ranges from 3 to 34 characters. If a name contains spaces, the name must be enclosed with quotation marks (for example, "user for test"). The name cannot contain any question marks (?), commas (,), quotation marks ("), or hyphens (-).
all	Deletes all application behavior control profiles.	-

Usage Guidelines

Application behavior control implements refined control over users' HTTP, FTP and IM behaviors.

After you configure an application behavior control profile, run the profile type app-control name command in the security policy rule view for the application behavior control profile to take effect.
