protocol (user-defined IPS signature view)

Function

The protocol command configures the protocol in a user-defined signature.

The undo protocol command deletes the protocol from a user-defined signature.

The default protocol in the user-defined signature is TCP.

A user-defined signature contains only one protocol.

The protocol of a predefined signature describes the type of the protocol used by an attack packet.

# Configure a user-defined signature. Set the ID to 1, name to mysignature, and protocol to UDP.
