This section describes the user experience plan and provides the feedback process.
The user experience plan function collects device information and sends the information to the data feedback server, helping Huawei service personnel learn about device operating information, service application information, and actual protection effectiveness. The data feedback server analyzes the information, which helps continuously improve the accuracy of IPS/AV signatures and AIE algorithms, identify network threats, and enhance the device security protection effectiveness to provide better security services for users.
The device information collected by the FW includes device operating information, engine operating information, security logs, attack data, and Passive DNS information.
The FW sends a request to sec.huawei.com to obtain the address of the data feedback server.
After the request is accepted, sec.huawei.com sends the address of the data feedback server to the FW. You need to configure the country where the device is located in the global configuration. The cloud server deployed in the same region will provide services for the device.
After the user experience plan function is enabled and the feedback interval is reached, the FW establishes a data transmission channel for sending feedback data with the data feedback server.
After processing and analyzing the data, the data feedback server sends the processing result to the FW.
After data feedback is complete, close the data connection request.
