Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

After an IPSec policy references a smart route selection rule, the device applies the IPSec policy to the local interface on the link with the highest priority. In addition, the local and remote addresses in the IPSec policy are replaced by the local and remote addresses of the link.

Prerequisites

A smart route selection rule has been created using the ipsec smart-link profile command.

Precautions

An IPSec policy can reference only one smart route selection rule.

When IPSec intelligent traffic steering is applied to an interface that has another IPSec policy applied, and the peer IP address used in IPSec intelligent traffic steering is the same as the peer IP address of the IPSec policy, IKE negotiation fails.

IPSec IPv6 does not support smart route selection.

Example

# Reference smart route selection rule profile1 in IPSec policy policy1.

<sysname> system-view
[sysname] ipsec smart-link profile profile1
[sysname-ipsec-smart-link-profile-profile1] quit
[sysname] ipsec policy policy1 10 isakmp
[sysname-ipsec-policy-isakmp-policy1-10] smart-link profile profile1
