snmp-agent trap enable feature-name mid_am

Function

The snmp-agent trap enable feature-name mid_am command enables the trap function for the AM module.

The undo snmp-agent trap enable feature-name mid_am command disables the trap function for the AM module.

By default, the trap function is enabled for the AM module.

snmp-agent trap enable feature-name mid_am [ trap-name { hwusedipreachthreshold | hwusedipreachthresholdresume } ]

trap-name	Enables or disables the trap function for the specified event of the AM module.	-
hwusedipreachthreshold	Enables the function of sending Huawei proprietary traps when the number of used IP addresses in an IP address pool exceeds the upper trap threshold.	-
hwusedipreachthresholdresume	Enables the function of sending Huawei proprietary traps when the number of used IP addresses in an IP address pool falls below the lower trap threshold.	-

Usage Guidelines

After the trap function is enabled, the device generates traps during operation and sends the traps to the NMS through the SNMP module. If the trap function is disabled, the device does not generate traps and the SNMP module does not send traps to the NMS.

You can specify trap-name as required to enable the trap function for one or more events.

The device has the trap suppression function configured and does not report traps within 10 minutes.
